We are honored to care for you and truly value the trust you place in our practice. As our community continues to grow, we are committed to ensuring that every patient receives thoughtful, personalized, and high-quality medical care.
To best support your health and protect your privacy, we are making an important update to how we communicate regarding medical questions and concerns.
While email has been a convenient way to stay in touch, it is not the appropriate setting for individualized medical advice or clinical decision-making. This is due to both privacy considerations (including HIPAA guidelines) and, more importantly, our commitment to providing you with safe, thorough, and personalized care. Medical recommendations often require a complete understanding of your history, symptoms, labs, and current treatment plan—something that cannot be adequately addressed through email alone.
For these reasons, we will no longer be able to address specific medical questions, new symptoms, test results, or treatment decisions via email.
Moving forward:
- For specific medical questions, new symptoms, or treatment decisions, we ask that you call the office to schedule an appointment. This allows us to give you the time and attention you deserve and ensures the highest standard of care.
- We will continue to provide general, protocol-based guidance and educational materials when appropriate.
- Administrative questions (scheduling, billing, logistics) will still be handled efficiently via email.
This change is designed to protect you, improve the quality of your care, and allow our team to be fully present and focused during your visits rather than dividing attention across fragmented communication.
We understand this is a shift from how we have communicated in the past, and we appreciate your understanding and partnership as we continue to refine our systems to better serve you.
