Kayleen Becker is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, accredited by both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She specializes in integrative and functional health, combining her expertise and patient-focused approach to deliver transformative care at Ruthie Harper MD’s practice.
Originally from Iowa, Kayleen’s passion for health and wellness inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal well-being. She earned her nursing degree in 2020 and has since gained extensive experience providing patient-centered care across Tennessee, Florida, and Arizona. Her professional journey includes working at a premier functional medicine clinic in Arizona, where she refined her skills in addressing complex health concerns.
Kayleen is highly proficient in the Bredesen Protocol and has completed her ReCODE Program 2.0 certification through Apollo Health. She is also in the final stages of completing her certification with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), which she expects to finalize by July 2025. Her expertise includes Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), advanced gut health treatments for conditions like leaky gut and SIBO, and cognitive optimization strategies. She is dedicated to designing personalized care plans that empower patients to take control of their health and achieve long-term wellness.
Now based in Austin, Texas, Kayleen is excited to bring her wealth of knowledge to Ruthie Harper MD’s practice, where she prioritizes building meaningful connections with her patients and using the latest evidence-based practices. Outside of her work, Kayleen enjoys exploring Austin’s vibrant outdoors and hiking. Her mission is to help patients not only feel their best but thrive in all aspects of their lives.
